Kat Scrappiness February First Project
This first project is a altered chipboard box. I made this for my best friend Amber for her birthday. I wanted to make her something she can keep her memories in from some trips we have taken. So I started with a bunch of ideas, I decided to stick with her favorite colors and a owl theme.
I used Urban paper pad from K and Company. It worked out great because the paper was green and had a owl on it. So I pasted it down with golden regular gel and sealed it. I then painted the inside with blue acrylic paint. After the paint dried I then worked on the cover. I placed a flower arrangement after I Lindy stamped gang them with blue sparkles. I then used cool green jewel buttons.
I then punched out a letter "A" for amber, I then used black enamel ascent to give it some texture. As you can see the owl looks like its hiding behind the flower like a hide out. The best is still to come I was looking at my box and thought its great but its messing something... Then I thought camera! So I took a Kat Scrappiness chipboard camera (Kat's Camera) and covered it with the designer paper. I then inked the edges with vintage photo and added white enamel ascents to it. I love the way it came out, I personally love the versatility of chipboard camera it allows you to alter it to fit any project needs. The altered box ended up really nice and Amber was really happy with it. I think just the little camera was perfect to complete this project.
I also received other gorgeous Kat Scrappiness goodies. Be Sure to check out the new store. We no longer at etsy we are on our own server at : www.katscrappiness.com .
Well I'm off be sure to come back and see me and my new projects real soon. I'm working on a mini you don't wanna miss. <3 Rachel

Kat Scrappiness Design Team January Projects
Hey everyone!
I'm back with two projects for Kat Scrappiness. I made one card with Kat's cupcake Click here. I used American craft card stock and a Websters page's paper. I added some bling and centered the Cupcake. I added white puffy paint to give it some flair. I think it turned out nice, I could put any sentiment inside because the cupcake is so vestal for any occasion.
My next project is a altered canvas board. I wanted to make a valentine card like the kind we would get in elementary school. I ran with that idea with my altered canvas. I used a picture of my fiance and I. I then used Kat's 3d rolled flowers in pink Click Here. After I added the flowers I wanted to add pearls. I wanted the "valentine" to look like pearls just fell on the canvas. I then added a few other minor details. Ultimately the Kat scrappiness 3d flowers is what ties the piece together.
For any of the products I used make sure to check out KatScrappiness.com Click here.
